"These are so interesting! And when you're interested, you learn better :) And yes, definitely, these podcasts are adequate for beginner levels."

Linda Wright

"Wow Anya,  Спасибо. I enjoy the speed in which you talk, not so fast that I don't have time to translate the words. I look forward to listening to the rest of your stories."

Jan Szaif

"Дорогая Аня! I like your podcasts since they provide interesting insights into life in Russia today -“today” as opposed to, for instance, the Soviet period. I lack the time to study systematically, and I will be even busier in the coming months, but I appreciate your lessons. I find it very good, very helpful."

James Fomba

"Hello Anya! Thanks very much for helping me to improve my Russian. My Dream actually is go to Russia and study medicine there! So That's why I'm learning Russian bit by bit!"

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

These stories are for Level A1. The level in Russian is mainly determined by certain grammar that is used in the texts, not vocabulary.  There are only 3 Cases that you will hear: Nominative( the dictionary form), Prepositional, and Accusative Cases. There are verb conjugations in the Present, Past, and Future Tenses, but only Imperfective Verbs. My pace is close to Normal. Basing on my real-life experience with one- on one long term students, we work on these type of text after 60 hours of study.

You can listen to the stories  on the phone, and you can also submit your speaking on the phone too.

You will receive your first lesson on the day you subscribe, and the second one after 3 days, and so on.

The challenge should take 10 -20 minutes every day, not longer. The lessons are short.  You can do it!
